孤山水之居山飲壑系列（棉麻布）
「 (袁慧莉) 以棉布為基礎，在其上以淡彩柔弱地表現出堅硬性質石頭之手法，可以說是改變了石頭之物質主體的存在方式，而這種改變物之主體存在方式的變化手法，我們可以以麥克盧漢(Herbert Marshall McLuhan, 1911-1980)「媒體理論」的「視點」(point of view)，轉變到「在點」(point of being)一方式來說明之。在畫作中成為視點主體的石頭，由柔軟的棉布此一媒介的作用下，形成了另外一種主體，而這樣的主體並不是消逝不見，而是居存在媒介的作用、變化的過程之中。此時存在的石頭，在畫家本身與其他主體交流、溝通時會有所衝突，反而是藉此誕生出一個新的世界。」---文真姬, 2014
