Emptiness and Being, installation
《空與有》， 錄像裝置（唯一版）

A dialogue between virtual imagery and physical matter, contrasting the tangible and the ethereal. The sand basin is silent until the projected lines set it in motion. The projection is a 'presence' without substance; the white sand is a 'void' that truly exists. Between the dancing lines and the stillness of stones, all things coexist in their rightful places—like water over stone, meeting in freedom. Existence is an illusion; illusion is a lived experience. The origin and end of all things may seem solid, yet they are hollow. Void and Substance are one.
以虛擬影像搭配實物，進行「虛、實」，「空、有」的對應。當未畫沙時，沙盤是安靜的，當影像投射出線條時，又動了起來。但虛擬的投影，看似有，實則無。沙盤看似純白的無，卻實實在在地存在（有）。在遊動的線條與安靜的石頭之間，萬物各在其位，如流水流過石頭，萬物相逢、卻各自自在。看似有，實則無；看似虛幻，卻又確有影像掠過。一切萬物的緣起緣滅，看似有，實則空。空與有是一體兩面的存在。--------袁慧莉
