THEY Shanshui series 《類山水》系列

"THEY Shanshui" emerges from a state of unconscious doodling, where raw emotions are directly channeled into dots, lines, and textured forms on paper. My emotional state simply cannot be captured by the conventional texture strokes (Cun methods) of traditional landscape painting.
While the techniques of traditional "True landscapes" are directed toward external nature, my inner emotions constitute an "internal nature" of their own. Authentic feelings need not be masked behind the textures of the physical world; instead, I transmit an "Internal Emotional Landscape" through these intuitive scribbles. This represents a different kind of truth. Because these works resemble landscapes yet defy traditional definitions, I have titled them “THEY Shanshui”.
類山水是在無意識的塗鴉狀態下，讓情緒直接抒發變成紙上的點線造型皴塊，因為，我的情緒狀態實在無法使用那些傳統山水畫常用的皴法來表達，傳統的「真山水」的皴法指向外在自然，但是我的內在情緒也是另一種關於內在的自然，真實的情感何須躲藏在外在自然的肌理中，我直接透過內在情緒的塗鴉來傳達內在情緒山水，這也是另一種真實，於是這看起來像山水，但又不是傳統定義上的山水，我就命名為《類山水》。
