孤山水之勢山水（棉麻布）
There is a vast difference between handling ink on fabric versus Xuan paper. Because fabric is sized (treated with starch), it is generally less absorbent than raw Xuan paper, yet its texture is coarser and more resistant than sized paper. Applying traditional techniques developed for paper to fabric proved to be a significant challenge. I found myself forced to abandon familiar brushwork and re-learn how to negotiate with the inherent nature of the fabric. Through constant experimentation to find new technical solutions, I sought to maintain the minimalist, elegant, and atmospheric quality I desire. Ultimately, I overcame these material constraints, successfully capturing a new sense of 'atmospheric ink' that perfectly expresses my artistic vision.
布上畫的筆墨與宣紙上的筆墨處理，有著極大的差異，因為布有上漿，通常比生宣紙還要難吸墨，又比熟宣質地粗澀，所以，在布上使用慣用於宣紙的筆墨技巧方式，的確遇到困難，於是只好捨棄慣用的筆墨技巧，重新學習與布的質性協商，尋找新的解決技法，同時，又要能夠表現我想要的簡淡清雅且帶有空氣感的筆墨效果，在不斷的實驗後，我終於克服材質上的困難，貼切地表現出我想追求的新的筆墨空氣感。
