THEY Shanshui
類山水
In the THEY Shanshui series, Yuan Hui-Li establishes her own calligraphic language. By substituting the naturalism of traditional Cun-fa with an evocative feminine consciousness, she overturns the male-dominated system of landscape painting. She reinterprets the classical ideal of "learning from nature to attain the heart's source," moving toward a purely "inward abstraction." This transformation creates a new frontier for landscape art, marking a profound departure from the past.
