作品《孤山水》系列，是對傳統最初的出走與探索，藉由探索筆墨與材料間的關係，嘗試表現出北台灣金山那靠山面海的濕氣空濛的環境視覺，並且確立了個人獨特的「塊狀山水」構圖風格。
