The Gaze of Time
The creative process of More is Less No. 4 was captured stroke by stroke through frame-by-frame photography, later sequenced into a motion video. This medium highlights the continuous accumulation of ink stains, illustrating the transition from sparse to dense, and from thin to thick—a visual manifestation of the passage of time. The overlapping layers of ink create a transparent depth, accentuating the unique materiality of both ink and sized Xuan paper.
As the accumulating ink stains gradually occupy the once-blank paper, they mirror a life waiting to be filled. Through the accretion of daily memories and lived experiences, a life gradually matures into its later years. Each speck of ink represents a day in time, filling the void of existence until it reaches fulfillment; yet, in this very process of accumulation, the remaining time in one’s life steadily diminishes.
The relationship between life and time is mirrored in the imagery of these "stains." The more days we traverse, the less blank space remains of our temporal existence.

將「時間之漬no.4」每一筆的創作過程以逐格拍攝單張照片後，再進行影像串接，成為動態影片，彰顯每一筆墨漬不斷堆疊形成由少而多、由薄而厚的畫面與時間過程，墨漬與墨漬之間的堆積，因交疊而產生透明層次，凸顯了熟宣紙與墨的物性。
同時，當堆疊的墨漬逐漸佔據原本空白的紙張，就好像原本等待被填滿的人生一般，也在歲月經驗與日常記憶的堆積中，逐漸邁向豐厚的年歲，點點堆積的墨漬就像一日復一日的歲月時光，堆滿了原本空白的生命直至老成，而人生剩下的時間也在不斷的累積中，漸漸少了。
人生與時間的關係，就如同這時間之漬的畫面，人生經過的時日越多，剩下空白的歲月時間也越來越少。
